Why I created The Return
For decades, I lived with anxiety and overwhelm. Eventually, my body and nervous system couldn’t keep up. I reached a point where I could barely function or work, and at times was completely bedridden.
It was then I realized: my system didn’t feel safe.
I had learned how to survive, but not how to feel steady, grounded, or at home in myself. Nothing I tried worked until I rebuilt that foundation from the inside out.
I searched for answers, experimented with my own system, and trained in psychology, somatic coaching, and hypnosis. The Return is the result: a step-by-step, lived, and integrated approach to creating inner safety — the true baseline for lasting change.

About Me
I’m a Master’s‑level psychologist (graduating with top honors), a trained hypnotherapist, and somatic coach who has personally walked through and healed from chronic fatigue and long-term stress. I draw from both my professional expertise and lived experience to offer a deeply integrated approach that taps into the subconscious mind, the body’s wisdom, daily habits, and mindset shifts.
1:1 Session with Emily Gessner
This session is led by a certified Human Design Reader whose journey into this powerful modality began after experiencing a profound burnout in 2022. That pivotal moment inspired her to leave behind a life that felt misaligned and instead step into her true energy and purpose. With deep compassion and lived experience, she now guides others in understanding their unique energetic blueprint — helping them reconnect with their natural rhythm, decision-making style, and authentic self.

The guidance, tools, and personalized support included in this program are worth €3,500–€5,000 — I offer it at €1,990 for women ready to commit to doing the work and rebuilding a foundation that truly supports them.

All sessions take place via Zoom and each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

No prior experience is needed. Everything will be fully guided and adapted to your pace.

Around 1–2 hours per week is ideal for the practices — this may vary depending on whether we have a session that week.

Somatic work is a body-centered approach to healing that helps you reconnect with your physical self, calm the nervous system, and release emotions stored in the body. Many of us live in a constant state of stress or disconnection — especially after burnout, trauma, or chronic illness.
In our sessions, I use gentle, accessible practices I’ve found deeply supportive in my own recovery from chronic fatigue. These include guided awareness and nervous system regulation techniques — all designed to help you feel safer, more grounded, and fully present in your body again.

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process that guides you into a calm, focused state — similar to a daydream or deep relaxation. You’re fully aware and in control the entire time. From this state, we can gently access the subconscious mind — the part of you that holds deep-rooted beliefs, habits, and emotional patterns.
This isn’t about being “hypnotized” or losing control. It’s about creating the right conditions for insight, healing, and transformation. Through imagery, gentle suggestion, and inner exploration, we begin to shift what’s been keeping you stuck — so new perspectives and possibilities can emerge.

No — while I’m trained in psychology and bring a deep understanding of the mind to my work, what I offer is not traditional talk therapy. I work as a psychological coach, combining intuitive pattern recognition with somatic practices, hypnotherapy-inspired techniques, and energy work to support emotional healing and self-awareness.
This approach is more integrative and experiential than conventional therapy — it’s about tuning into both mind and body to create lasting shifts, rather than only talking things through.
